''De genio Socratis'' is a work by Plutarch, part of his collection of works entitled ''Moralia''. ==Title== The title refers to the daimonion of Socrates, which is otherwise known as his ''genius'' (genio), in as much, the title in the English language translation is most easily rendered as ''On the genius of Socrates''.
